Set of 2 cloth napkins with monograms "MC"

This set of two fabric napkins features an interwoven geometric pattern that is particularly noticeable when the light hits it. Each napkin is adorned with an embroidered monogram "MC", indicating original custom-made production - likely part of a personal outfit or ceremonial dining.

The napkins bear subtle traces of time, which are natural for older textiles and give them an authentic character, but do not impair their functionality or overall impression. The edges are carefully finished, the fabric is still strong and holds its shape beautifully.

We discovered a set of these linen napkins at a small market in Provence. We originally purchased a total of six pieces. Two of them bear more visible traces of time, which are natural for old fabrics and underline their authenticity. For this reason, we decided to divide the napkins for sale as follows:
– 2 sets of 2 napkins in a very nice
– 2 separate pieces, where the traces of time are more noticeable, but are still very nice

How would we use them? We would use them as an elegant addition to a festively laid table, for slow weekend breakfasts or festive lunches. But they would also serve just as beautifully as a stylish detail in the interior – folded on an open shelf, in an old chest of drawers or as part of a decorative arrangement with porcelain and glass. They are small things that will give the space the quiet nobility of times gone by.
