Digoin & Sarrenguemines Jardinière bathroom sink
This antique faience washbasin comes from the French workshop Digoin & Sarrenguemines and features a delicate transfer decor in pink with a floral pattern. The washbasin was made in the early 20th century. The original manufacturer's mark on the underside of the washbasin confirms its origin, while the cracking of the glaze adds authentic charm.
The bowl shows signs of age – scuffs on the bottom ring, cracked glaze and discoloration consistent with its age. However, it is these details that create its unique character and confirm its long life.
How would we use it? We can imagine it in the bathroom, placed on a wooden stool, where it will be stored with fragrant soaps from Provence and small care rituals. But it would also stand out beautifully in the kitchen as a fruit bowl, or outside on a garden table, where it will add a subtle French charm to the space.
